LA VIOLENCIA FAMILIAR: UN PROBLEMA DE SALUD PÚBLICA
Abstract
El presente siglo ha sido testigo de espectaculares avances en latecnología y en las prácticas medicas, de cambios trascendentes
en la actitud de los profesionales de la salud y se han observado
actitudes incipientes pero positivas de los individuos hacia su
propia salud y a las acciones que en beneficio de ella se realizan;
desafortunadamente, junto con algunas conductas de ciertos
grupos que dañan la salud y el bienestar de la colectividad, han
aparecido, nuevos y complejos problemas de salud, como
consecuencia del desarrollo social y de diversas conductas antes
mencionadas.
