Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effects of a virtual educational intervention in nutrition on the eating behaviors of workers of the Court of Justice of Rondônia. Methods: An experimental study was conducted with educational intervention and control before and after the intervention, evaluating through the Moodle platform a population of 72 workers. The behaviors related to the consumption of fruits and vegetables were evaluated immediately and six months later. The model was validated by participants and experts. The analysis was performed in SPSS 25 and Epidat 3.1. Results: Of the 77 participants, 56 (72.7%) were women, mean age 39.42 years (± 8.26).  There was significant improvement immediately (p ≤ 0.05) and six months later (p ≤ 0.05) in behavior of consuming fruits daily, consuming at least three servings of fruits daily and consuming vegetables daily. Conclusions: The virtual educational model in nutrition improves eating behaviors in workers in the short and long term, has low cost and is reproducible.
