Introduction: Physical activity in aviation students is considered a key factor in the development and maintenance of muscle mass, directly influencing their physical capacity and academic performance. Objective: Analyze the level of physical activity and its relationship with the percentage of muscle mass in aviation students in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Methodology: Quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional study. The study was on 169 aviation students selected through simple probabilistic sampling. Results: The majority of aviation students, 88.8%, perform vigorous activity. 50.9% have high muscle mass, 42.6% have normal muscle mass, and only 1.8% have low muscle mass. Although students with vigorous activity tend to have greater muscle mass, a statistically significant association was not found (p>0.05). Conclusions: Aviation students present high levels of physical activity and muscle mass. No consistent relationship was found between physical activity and muscle mass. It is essential to implement regular evaluations and comprehensive wellness programs that include nutrition and regular exercise.
