Abstract

The RESPYN Public Health and Nutrition Journal emerged completely electronically in its structure, promoting an innovative publication model after 25 years. Which marked a milestone in a process of differentiating itself in the publishing sector in Mexico.

Author Biography

Pedro César Cantú Martínez, UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE NUEVO LEON

He is a research professor at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), affiliated with the Faculty of Biological Sciences. He holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the UANL. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Education from the International Organization for Inclusion and Quality in Education; as well as an Honorary Doctorate in Bioethics from the Institute for Bioethics Research A.C. His line of research is sustainable human development, addressing aspects related to social, public health, environmental, bioethical, and educational problems, and has trained human resources at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has collaborated with the Pan American Health Organization, the United States-Mexico Border Health Commission, the Center for Information for Public Health Decisions of the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico, and the National Bioethics Commission, among others. He is currently a member of the national system of researchers, as well as the State Bioethics Commission of Nuevo León. He has also published 38 books, more than 40 book chapters, and countless articles.
