CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LA
NUTRICIÓN PÚBLICA
• Enfoque orientado a problemas nutricionales y
dietéticos de la población = naturaleza, magnitud,
distribución, determinantes y consecuencias, así como
políticas y programas para su abordaje.
• Incorpora diversas disciplinas académicas y sectores.
• Propone e implementa políticas y programas públicos
basados en la evidencia.
• Considera factores ambientales, sociales,
económicos que por lo general no se vinculan con la
nutrición.
