Los Posgrados en Salud Pública en la Frontera Norte de México
Abstract
En México, los posgrados de Salud Pública tienen como propósito general formar
recursos humanos de calidad, capaces de desarrollar habilidades en investigación,
docencia y administración con niveles de excelencia en la práctica de la Salud
Pública y así mismo satisfacer las necesidades de la sociedad en lo que a formación
de recursos con posgrado en Salud Pública se refiere.
El Objetivo del Curriculum en Salud Pública es formar líderes capaces de organizar la respuesta
social frente al reto de la Salud, para mantener el proceso de salud enfermedad en el lado de la
salud, el curriculum deben transitar desde maestrías y doctorados en artes, con predominio de la
administración tradicional, hacia maestrías y doctorados en ciencias.
Desde el punto de vista de la Frontera Norte, se requiere un análisis desde diferentes perspectivas,
el núcleo curricular, retos y posibles acciones de los posgrados.
